Job Description:
  • This position comes with base salary + commissions
  • Accurately measure, price, and quote work according to company pricing models.
    • Properties require the correct measurement
    • Pricing will be off the approved price list. Discounts, if any, will be authorized by management.
    • 50% of lawn program sales will be prepay or autopay.
    • Prepare and present proposals over the phone, via e mail, in person or as needed in a professional manner.
  • Respond to all inquiries and requests for bids in a timely manner.
  • Learn all Turf programs, including: all turf types, weed types, growth habits, disease and turf programs we offer
  • Learn other programs, such as Tree/ shrub programs and additional services (i.e. Pest Barrier, Grub Control, Fungicide)
  • Promote products and/ or services
  • Be able to operate Real Green Systems or other CRM
  • Meet weekly, Monthly, Yearly sales goals as defined by management
    • Goals can and will change depending on the time of the year
    • Goals can and will change based on the campaign in progress
    • This can and will entail engaging in outbound dialing notably in enhancement campaigns or when calling prior customers for re-instate
    • Expanded/Enhancement campaigns have completion dates. A certain number of outbound dials is required to complete campaigns in timely fashion. Goals will be assigned to sales representatives concerning outbound dialing.
    • Management will determine the campaigns sales is actively marketing as well as contact and close rate requirements.
    • Failure to achieve contact goals/close rate goals will result in suspension of remote calling & employees will be required to report to the main facility for closer supervision.
  • Maintain record and tracking of all customers and proposals in progress
    • This will entail using management designated tracking forms
    • This will entail daily reporting of leads, dials, contacts and closes
  • Maintain awareness and provide feedback on customer relationship and the customer’s perceptions of the product and service being provided, to maximize customer retention.
    • New sales cancel rates by sales rep need to be within defined company parameters. These will be communicated.
  • Participate in various industry associations to increase knowledge of marketplace, sales opportunities, the competition, selling techniques and best practices.
  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance at a level acceptable to the company, including the ability to work overtime, evenings, or weekends as necessary.
    • Sales representatives must have the flexibility to work the times stated above
    • We have a branch goal to achieve. If we are behind the branch goal working these extra hours may be required.
  • Work outdoors and visit job sites on a regular basis
